Talks

Our Talks will be held at the Library at 7.30pm
Cost £4 including refreshments and a free raffle (£10 voucher)
Guests welcome (also pay £4)

Autumn 2025

Monday 20th October  : BEE KEEPING IN MY GARDEN, Victoria Cox talks about looking after her bees and honey making.  (Honey for sale).

Monday 17th November : GARDENING THE WORLD, Terry Whenham's talk on the Commonwealth War Graves

Monday 15th December : EASY GARDENING FOR TIRED JOINTS, talk by Horticulturalist Doug Steward via Zoom.  This meeting is our Christmas Event with the usual drinks and nibbles.

Spring 2026

Tuesday 17th February : Meet at Evenley Woods to see the winter displays,  especially snowdrops and hellebores, we have chosen a Tuesday as the café is open.

Monday 16th March : AN EVENING WITH THE CHARLSWORTHS, Barbara and Roger chat  about their time spent in their lovely garden at Pear Tree House.  There are sure to be some BIG fish stories!

Monday 20th April :  CUSTOMS THROUGH THE YEAR, Talk by Irene Page. Perhaps we will learn the true meaning of "ne'er cast a clout till may is out"
